Dr. Marillier completed his medical training at the University of the Free State in South Africa and completed two further diplomas in Anaesthesiology and Obstetrics at the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa.

He emigrated to Canada in 2008 and worked as a rural family physician in Slave Lake for 5 years, before relocating to Edmonton and completing his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alberta.

He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and a member of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the North American Menopause Society. He is appointed as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Alberta and involved in medical student and resident teaching and training. He completed training in neuromodulators and fillers, the Botox course, and has been trained in Cynosure’s TempSure and Elite iQ devices.

Dr. Marillier is a dad to three gorgeous girls and has a passion for Women’s Health, wishing to provide high quality obstetrics and gynecological services to a diverse population. In his spare time, he likes to hike and paddleboard, but mostly drink South African wine and laze on a sandy beach.
